  I only know that a friend of commented how badly sunk a government school was after a night of rain.I know even my elitist college was flooded too.
  I know how bad roads are,of a city so well loved.But I also know the hearts of those inhabitants have hardend,because of the vice.I know we should cherish and preserve,but we do it otherwise.So maybe we know nothing?

  Yes we are ignorant but we need to educate people before that we need to educate ourselves first. Lets move forward and take initiatives, thats how this is going to change but it will take time.

  somewhere along the line when we lost those who showed us the way, we ended up losing the way itself too... but there is hope because people like us are around who at least realize that the flaws are there... We just need the courage to take it from there.

  tanzila: i so agree! when will they learn that this is their own stuff too! but for that, first people need to first start paying taxes :p then they might realize its their own stuff....

  tanzila: we do pay taxes on products and services, but not many realize it.. we just take it as part of the retail price. The problem is taking ownership of area's around us... and forcing the govt. to rectify it.
  
  Thats why im so in favour of the new devolution plan and UC system... since its local, each councillor is answerable to a specific set of people, namely from his own community.
  
  i live in a naval colony, so move around a lot, thats why never understood what its like to be part of a community where you grow up.. but i've seen other neighbourhoods... cooperative associations and what not.. n it does work.
  
  because eventually.. if you gotta do something right.. you gotta do it yourself ;)

In a country made up of ignorant people mindlessly going on a path to destruction..... where everyones in it for their own benefit, largely ignoring everybody else, where appreciation for a job well done is lost amid the harsh words thrown at them for the tiniest fault... Where is the voice of sanity? Where, i ask, is civilized behaviour!
