  Qasim should get a life time sentence in prison I'm sure he will get lots of ardent followers over there.I read something like this few months back when some alim tried to molest some girl outside Faisal mosque in Islamabad.
  Police arrived & they arrested the victim..Alim sat free.
  
  Why the hell on earth they arrested the woman who got raped? this is rediculous.
  
  I strongly believe ppl who don't have faith in God do things like that like murid n all or in other words "Jin ka iman kacha hota hay".

  I cannot even begin to write about the abuses women, young boys and men face at the hands of these alims and pirs. When will we get rid of these bast..ds.

  u know what..took me 6 years and re-programing from my family to train myself from speaking out my mind to 'walls and asses'...having been brought up abroad, i know my basic rights...and when we shifted here, i tried to excercise them where needed - and what did i get in return? shoulder shrugs and chuckles from these so called 'authorities'. sleezeballs! they dont even know how to look at a woman from a distance without getting an ******** - and oh! what do i get told after all this?? "this is pakistan! what rights?" hence the bitterness... let them take their sorry asses to hell for all i care! aarrgghhh! u got me mad there! if i get a chance to be a minister or something - phir dekhna what changes will come about. what men can do, we women can do it even better! :P

Why arrest the victim?

I was reading this news item about an Alim being arrested on charges of raping one of his muridni (ardent follower) in Daily Times... and this one line really got me all riled up!

The police have arrested Qasim and Samina on rape charges.

Samina was the woman who was raped!! why arrest her? what was her fault?! i now seriously believe there is something substantial behind the media hype against pulling down the 'Hudood Ordinance'! If this is the sort of actions it perpetuates then im all for "down with Hudood!".
