A haven for Road Crossers (finally!!)
About 3 to 4 months back, after the commissioning of all the new flyovers at shahrah-e-faisal, it became heaven for folks driving by... and at the same time, hell for people wanting to cross it. There was just no way to do that anymore, with no breaks in traffic flow. Sadly, it resulted in a lot of people loosing their lives as well.
Then, i came across a news article saying passenger bridges would be constructed... and i thought.. FINALLY! yet.. as usual, nothing happened.. After a little while (a month), a signboard appeared near my office building declaring a new passenger bridge! i was delighted.... but only to a little extent. Its been my experience things dont happen, even though signs come up everywhere. Then slowly and gradually, a bridge (one of three new ones on shahrah-e-faisal) started apprearing.. and my hopes started going up. So here, im posting its progress (as of today). This one's located near Park Avenue (Citibank building), the other two are near FTC and after the Baluch Colony flyover.
