Public Transport...
I banged my car a week ago.. i thought i'd post a little on that.. but its not that interesting, just a little bump, a damaged bonnet, fender and door. Plus, it wasnt like i rammed head first into a wall or anything.. so its not that interesting.. but what *is* interesting is that yesterday i gave my car to be fixed at the showroom. And since then... im without transport :S
And like many other karachite's, i took to the public transport since yesterday. Oh yea, by public transport, i mean the taxi and rikshaw's.. not the busses/coaches. One thing i can definately say about it... it is very.. very... very expensive to travel on public transport here. In just two days, i've managed to be short by Rs. 600 which i spent hauling myself from point A to D (and various points in between).
Not that i havent travelled much on it... infact, i've been travelling via the karachi busses for almost 6 years before i got my car. But now, it feels as if such a long time has passed since i did it... i just cant bring myself to boarding a bus anymore, and hence now take the taxi everywhere i wanna go .
So summing up,

So summing up,
- its expensive, and
- it feels like i used to do it centuries ago.
